3rd Annual Iowa meet ROLL CALL!

Ok, I need to know who is coming, and I will send out PMs with the address of the event so everyone can make it. Please post up when you will arrive. I will also try and get some of the guys further away food items we will need that are non-perishable... . Pete that means it doesn't need to be refrigerated.



In Creston Iowa, there are two motels for those that don't camp. One is the Super 8 (800) 454-3213, and the other is a Supertel (641) 782-7873 . There are others but I wouldn't send my worst enemy to sleep there.

If all goes according to plan, my wife and I should be there mid to late afternoon Friday, June 8. We have to leave early Sunday, because Cathy has to be at work on the following Tuesday morning.

We have a 28 ft. travel trailer behind our Dodge, and hope you have parking space. We are self-contained, and won't need any hook-ups. No kids, just two small dogs.

Mike, would like to lock in possitive arrival, but am still down. Rear end "should" arrive today. This is a true "shade tree" operation here, so if all goes well, I plan to be in, "probably" before noon on Friday. Maybe in your area Thursday noon (Creston). My brother and his wife have offered me the couch in their travel trailer, so will need only to park truck. As far as food, goes, as long as I know how much to bring, there is always your local freindly Walmart in Creston. Bringing bad rear axle and "new" 518 trans with me. Here's hoping!

Fyi... the two motels I recommended are apparently booked. For a room try the Holiday Motel at 641-782-1644 or the Motel at 641-782-4422.

Mike... My rear axle is in and sounds good, so now unless something else gets in the way, I "should" be there, possibly a day ahead of time. Looking forward to it and hope the weather clears in time for the meet.
