Wish I could have made this but I had to go into work :( I really wanted to hear a 3rd Gen straight piped (i. e. Jason's) Maybe I should have brought my new "chariot" to dyno (94 Plymouth Acclaim) :-laf With these high fuel prices, the "chariot" is seeing more miles than the "Mac Daddy. "

I plan on a few more nights cruising university beforeit's toooooo cold. PM me before friday and I'll give y ou a definite time to be around for some street action.

Those fuel Prices are starting to kill O/Operators,Both My Performance and construction companies are seeing loses because of it,I was over at Belair evacuating and some O/Os shut Down. . One owner said that the Truck makes $72. 00 Hr and he was using 100 gallons a Day at $3. 30 . The spread between gas and diesel is a of over $1. 00 . . This has to manipulation and distortion for profit.

Thanks!

For putting on the dyno runs! It's always a good time to see all the trucks and talk to owners. Hey Fat Kid- did your head gasket keep together??

Mike

I had a great time. It was nice to meet new people. Wish i could have talked more, but I was under the hood changing out my VP44 for the most part of the day. After that I got it on the dyno. Thanks for setting up the event.

Just wanted to say thanks to Josh and Hi Tech for settign this up. Next time I'll give the rollers a spin... I may have bad news, for me anyways... Andy, that weird sound... . well it may be a head gasket. :( I dunno how yours can hold and mine wouldn't, but I'm thinking that's what it is. We'll see though. I'll get the other turbo on and see if the sound stops, hopefully it does and the oil that's on my block is only from when I adjusted my valves and did the last retorque I don't think it is though. If it's a gasket, then I guess I'll have to throw a new one in,I should fire ring it. Want to do firerings on 2 trucks at a time Andy? Jim & Josh- it seems like I have as good of luck as you guys. At least I made it home.

Sounds like you guys had a good showing and a great time out there. Good to hear. Wish I could've been there, but I was out representing at the Pro Rally... Check out the second picture in the third row HERE. :-laf :-laf

My sweep team only pulled out a couple of crashed cars. The other team pulled out multiple cars per stage. We got jipped. :{

Well, I got the head off this weekend. Doesn't look like it was leaking. So the bubbling from the gasket must have just been an oil passage and not leaking past the firering. I dunno what the noise was, haven't gotten on it yet to see if it's still there. So, I got some more experience and some piece of mind anyways I guess. I could have gotten away with another retorque, but I already had it far enough apart that for $80 now I know nothing is wrong. Also got the ats manifold and phat shaft 64 on. Just running it with a downpipe... that thing is freakin loud... gonna have to find exhaust soon unless I want a headache on the way to and from work.
