What spare filters parts do you carry on long trips. I am trying to stock up on needed items. This is my first cummins

I carry a spare fuel filter. If I ever get a load of bad fuel, it'll be there and I choose how much I pay for it.



I went to the dealer a few years back and they wanted $41 for a fuel filter. I got one from Geno's for under $10. I'd hate to be stuck somewhere and have to buy a filter from someone who knows I'm stuck.

If you're going to carry a spare fuel filter, remember to carry an appropriate socket for the filter lid!

That would be a feeling! You're all cocky and happy that you remembered to carry a new filter only to realize you can't put it in!
