What is the best way to get the Trans dip stick and Coolant hose bracket off of the bottom bolt on the rear of the stock manifold.

Also, the factory put these stainless dog bones on the rear two bolts over the heads on the top two and the bottom two to prevent them from coming loose and falling out. I got the top dog bone off, and bolts out, but now need to remove this bracket off of the 2nd to rearmost bolt and am having no luck.

What to do?

Job Complete

Well,

After much debate, I decided to drain some antifreeze and pull the heater core hose off of bracket. I was then able to get it off exhaust manifold stud. After that it was still a pain to get the anti rotate dog bone off of bolt heads, but up late last night and job is complete. Got that sucker off and new ATS back on.

I took pictures, but forgot to utilize flash and they are not publishable.

The easy/ fast way is to cut the bracket. It makes short work of it. When you have the bracket off it is easy to add on to the bracket to make it a bolt on.
