I believe the rims are CAST, not FORGED.

Mine are forged. On the backside if the spokes are not solid they are cast I've been told.
I remember ordering them and the cost difference was around $300 I believe.

Forged vs Cast

Just an FYI for those trying to determine cast or forged.

I have both sets, cast and forged. My 2004.5 2WD has the painted silver color cast wheels. They are the ones shown on the almond colored truck. The spoke cutout has a radius cast into it. The outer or face was turned by a lathe and the opening was as cast.

My 2007 has the forged polished wheels which were part of the Lone Star package. These are the ones shown on the white truck. The cutouts are straight angled towards the inside and are obviously machined because of the cutter marks or chatter from an end mill profiling the inside of the opening.

The forged ones are somewhat hard to find.

JApol, I stand corrected. I have a set of the polished 2007 wheels, not on my truck right now, but I was told they were CAST. Sorry for speaking in error. Chris
