Ok folks, after years of seeing these 03-09 forums and never hardly reading them, we done went off the deep end and bought a truck.

2007 2500 4x4. 5. 9 automatic

To say I'm a 3rd Gen newbie is an understatement... . I'm not even sure what transmission it has in it.

All stock for now... . It will be my dad's new personal truck to replace his old '95 so 325hp should be more than plenty to pull the jet sled around.

Guess I have a reason to hang out here, now.

Cheers,

Dan

Well we hope you get alone good with your new truck. Look to hear more from you on the new truck. Good luck __Ben

Great thank, guys!

Hopefully I can restrain myself from messing it up too much... . power-wise it is great and shifts fine for now.

I think that alot of us here in the 3rd gen forums were 1st or 2nd gen previous owners. I, for one, owned a 2001. 5 2wd automatic before my '07, 5. 0 4x4, G56.
Alot of improvements in the 3rd gen trucks in my HUMBLE opinion.
