2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 3rd Gen rear bumper on 2nd Gen

Hey guys, has anyone out there put a 3rd gen rear bumper on their 2nd gen? I would like to put one on mine to gain the trailer plug in the bumper as well as get rid of the dented one on my truck now :-laf Any pictures?

I can't believe there isn't someone out there that hasn't tried this. Anyone?

I did something like this. I unplugged the factory plug on the hitch. Then I cut off the metal that was on the hitch and ground it down to bare metal in that area. I then painted this spot with the same color of paint. Found a couple of bolts long enough for this and a couple pieces of metal and fabbed up a plate and bolted back onto the hitch with a piece of rubber to protect the plug and now it faces the right way. It has been like this for over two years and so far no problems. I also modified the metal for the plug to face the right way on the hitch. It aint the best job in the world but it is what i wanted. I hope this helps.

The frame rails on the 3rd gen are wider than the 2nd gen, so I don't think it would bolt right up.
