I may have a line on a used Sled Puller 66/14.

Guy has it on a Stock 2004. 5 truck, turbo has 12,000 miles on it.

What is needed to get that turbo to mount on my 2nd gen 12V?

Thanks

Dimple the oil drain tube to clear the wastegate rod and a 4" downpipe.

Really, is that it?

I'm curious because this is the quote on HTT's web site:

4" Downpipe and clamps - $180

For 3rd gen engines, we machine our turbo exhaust outlet to accept your stock exhaust adapter so no downpipe is required.

If you purchase a 2nd gen style turbo and want to use it on a 3rd gen engine,we have a compressor outlet adapter kit for $110. 00.

Thanks

Got a pic of this turbo for sale?

No, but may have some pictures later today, I'll post them if possible. Talked to HTT about putting it on my 12V and he said it'd take some doing. To have it ready to bolt on it'd cost about another $375. .

I'll probably buy it and resell it after I verify it is what he says it is.

I don't like this... Why would you run that turbo on a STOCK truck for 12,000???

Does raise a ?, doesn't it? Would explain why it's for sale. Way too laggy on a stock truck.
