2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 3rd gen springs on a 2nd gen truck???

Anyone tried to run 3rd gen springs on a 2nd gen truck?



There's a guy here at work that just put a KORE kit on his truck and he wants to get rid of the factory springs.



Will the fronts fit? Will they provide a lift or make it ride better?



How about the rears? I've heard rumors that they are longer, but don't know.

The rears are longer so you'd have to relocate the spring mounts. Don't know how the fronts compare between 2nd and 3rd gens.

Fronts will fit, but you won't get much lift out of them.



The rears are different. They are longer and won't fit without modification.
