2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 3rd gen steering box into 2nd gen

Thought I had saw a thread on someone putting 3rd gen steering box into 2bd gen. Search did not turn up anything.

look for wild horse suspension. it requires an adapter to mount the newer box

Anyone make their own bracket for 3rd gen steering on a 2nd gen?

PSC has the specs to make the bracket... They made one for me. I could not fing the correct pitman to put it all together though. That may change if and when I go to a Thuren steering kit though. Apparently one has to drill out the pitman and the knuckles. This would be a non issue at that point.

Curious, why doesn't the stock 3rd gen pitman arm work?

If I remeber correctly it was due to the angle and the change in which side the tie rod had to connect.
