Man, I wish I had persued this in 05 when I thought of it... oh well. :-laf

I have an 03 box with low miles on it sitting in my garage. Wonder how much just the additional parts are? I would be willing to do this, but I just put a new box on 2 years ago, and I have the money invested in a DSS as well.

The security features of my computer will not let me past the home page It doesn't recognize the active X installer.

?????? Any time i have seen Active X pop up it usually tries to screw up my computer... ... I know wrenches nuts and bolts, but computers... ... thats a whole different story. To my knowledge there isnt any thing on the products page thats different than the home page. There are no movies, moving pictures, or smiles so I dont know why that would be. If you keep having that problem I will see of some one can tell me if it is a problem with the site.

Here is what internet explorer security says about it. You should get a hold of the person who did your site and verify this. I would like to check out your site but can't.

What should you do when Windows blocks the installation of an ActiveX control?

You probably should not install that ActiveX control. Windows will block the installation of an ActiveX control if your Internet Explorer security settings are at the default levels and the ActiveX control does not have a valid digital signature.

A valid digital signature verifies the identity of the publisher (the company, website, or individual that is distributing the file), as well as the fact that the file has not been tampered with since it was signed. If the file has no valid digital signature, you cannot be certain that the file is actually from the source it claims to be from, or that it has not been tampered with. You should not open the file unless you trust the publisher and know that the contents are safe to open.

What are ActiveX controls?

ActiveX controls are small computer programs that are used to create interactive web content, such as animation sequences and online tools. They are used extensively on the Internet, and generally make web browsing more enjoyable. In some cases, however, these programs can be used to collect information from your computer in ways you might not approve of, possibly damage information on your computer, install software on your computer without your consent, or allow someone else to control your computer remotely. Given these risks, you should only install these programs if you completely trust the publisher.
