Is it just me,or has anyone else wondered why Dodge is the only truck on the planet that lacks any flare in the fender area?

This is especially noticeable on the long bed. It needs some flare to break up that long flat sheet metal. Not to mention added protection.

Especially Ford's, in my ever so humble opinion, ugly "city bus" looking fenders. But I did like the slight flare on the second generation Dodge fenders.

When you look out the windshield, all you see are the wipers blocking out the hood. Is that ugly or is it just me? I am 6-1 [before you guys tell me to sit on a phone book]

I will second daveshoe on the wipers. I am 6'2" & I don't like looking at the wipers. :{ Raising the seat helps some. Maybe some day they will hide the wipers & we can all rest easy. ;)

My bed is way to smooth. You are right about it "needing something" so I am going to just take it off and put a flatbed on it. You know that the designers have a hot looking bed planned a couple years out for us to trade up to, right? geusterman

What I don't like is the way the doors go in at the top and no gutter on the roof. When you open the door, any snow on the roof drops right in the middle of the seat. Gets ya in a good mood first thing in the morning! Really took a dumb engineer to figure that one out!

i wipe my hand across the roof/door seam line to get off most of the snow in the morning there, but you do get some on the seat.

i don't like that heated seats are not avalable with fabric seats. i don't want leather. i also don't like the factory water temp & oil pressure gauges. oh, and i am not a fan of the quiet exhaust we have, but the quiet engine is nice...

I'm not tall enough for that. If I tried, it would probably go down my shirt! I have to use a snow brush, but sometimes the snow brush is in the truck.

Amen on the doors wrapping over the roof, for the snow dump. I hate that. Brushing it off still results in a bunch of it covering the seat.
