Yep you might as well do the DSS too if you haven't. If you don't need the DSS it will certainly make your steering box last a LOT longer. I put one on my '96 and at 392,000 it steers great.

I did the DSS first and really had a HUGE improvement... . kept reading about how great the 3rd gen track bar mod was so I did that too and man this thing is like it's on rails compared to the way it was. Before I a had to be on the "rudders" all the time... straight steering was a chore but now I just monitor the wheel on a staight road... . but that's how it's suposed to be right? I've got about 35,000 miles on mine with both mods and they're money well spent.
