3rd pump on 3rd gen

My grandpa bought a new 03. had an injection pump leak about 30,000 miles-dealer replaced pump. now it has 87,000 miles and is leaking again. this truck has been serviced on a very tight schedule and has NEVER had a fueling box or any performance upgrades at any point in its life. He ocassionally pulls his 32' travel trailer but it isnt that big of a strain and he doesnt drive it very hard

How often does he replace the fuel filter? Has he considered maybe an alternate fuel source (if he commonly uses one particular source)? Does he use an additive? A nice lubricity enhancer might help.

Where in the pump is it leaking from? Leaking fuel or oil?

How many times did he accidently fill the tank with gasoline?

he gets fuel from various places and he changes fuel filters at about 15000 miles. I couldnt find the exact spot but it is diesel. he went to dodge and they changed the fuel filter even though he changed it the day before (said it was DC protocol) and put dye in the tank, but no word yet on what they are going to do
