I just went over 4K miles on my truck, this is since Nov. 1st. This may be common but I wish the drive to work was longer, I really enjoy that time to commune with my truck. I think it's sinking in that I own this truck and it's not just borrowed. I have no serious complaints (knock on wood!). Minor things to look at are the right side window and the door locks. The window goes down a little crooked, I read about that problem here. I think the track just needs adjusment. The locks probably just need some lube. As soon as I get the jeep out of the garage I can get this in to open the doors to adjust/lube things. I'll probably drill for zerks too, I'd like to thank whoever first posted that tip. I'm used to just replacing the tie rods/ball joints with greasable parts. Happy Ramming everyone!

P. S. Milage is improving already!

85CJ,

I had that problem with my passenger side window. They had to shim it to correct it. They said they used a popsicle stick to get it done. #ad

Also, my passenger side window came with scratches from the factory. They replaced it, though. Mine's a St. Louis truck.

Hmm, a popsickle stick. I guess I'll eat a popsickle as I take the door apart. Thanks for the tip about the shim.

85CJ, I agree with you!! Every since we bought our first Cummins I have been asking the wife to move farther out in the country just to drive longer each day #ad
