Mobil Delvac 1300 Super has a manufacture's rebate of $7 a gallon (10 gallons per consumer) until year end. Oil must be purchased from a participating retailer listed on Mobil's website. Walmart has Mobil Delvac 1300 for $10.97 a gallon (regular price not a roll-back) until 03May, but isn't a participant in the rebate offer. O'Reilly Auto Parts has a price match policy just like Pepboys and others. So purchased my 10 gallons today at O'Reilly with a Walmart price match. $10.97-$7 rebate=$4 a gallon oil. Don't like Mobil Delvac--go to PQIA.org and compare it against other tested conventional oils.

Thanks for the heads up Doug. Mobil had the same rebate last year although it was only good for 5 gallons max. I'll have to stock up again.

Looking at Mobil’s website, I only see Mobil Delvac 1300 Super listed as a 15W-40 conventional oil. All the various diesel oils are described as heavy duty diesel oils. 1300 Super is all I’ve seen on various store shelves besides the synthetic offerings. So yes, believe it is the same oil.

Walmart has Mobil Delvac 1300 currently @ $10:97 a gallon. Ask for a price match at O’reillys, Pepboys or any other store that has a price match policy and is on the rebate retailer approved list. Then you pay $4 a gallon for up to 10 gallons per year per household with the $7 Mobil rebate.
