BOY, was my eyes opened, you know, I must be from missouri, i've read the "4" exhaust storys and claimes, and have been a doughter, i stoped at jardine exhaust in Dubouis Wy, and had them finish the job. i all ready had the cat back on, the install opened that engine up, the egt fell--- the boost was faster a little more throutier sound, and- PULL- i was in total aaah.

if any one is thinking about doing this don't heasitat, do it. you won't be dispointed.

Could you give me some kind of Idea what my EGT's would drop with a full 4" exhaust from Jarine? I need some good exhaust to go with the new TST#8 before I do some transmission upgrades.

on the egt you'll notice a drop of approx. 75-100 degrees. guicker cool down, put best of all when pulling a long grade, the egt's stay lower longer, a guicker spool up of the turbo. since i've got home, i've been able to run some good inclines, 6-10% pulling my ttrailer,(parleys canyon) on the back side to slc and my egt's went to 700* where be for i had to back out of it because it would go 800+. Pulled the 10%, egt's went to 650* where before it would go to 850-900* solo.

I hope this helps. jardine has a little camp ground there, rooms to stay, does'nt charge for the stay WHEN you have work done. or he'll ship it to you. he is 20 miles out of town. my cost was 120. 00 for the head pipe 50. 00 labor. simple to install yourself. i've got the cat, so it had to be modified for four inch. hope this helps.
