Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 4" Downpipe

Would anyone out there care to venture an opinion about the net effectiveness of adding a 4" downpipe to my truck. The current exhaust is 3" downpipe to the stock cat, 4" between the cat and Flowmaster muffler and 3 1/2 tailpipe. It's just slightly above stock with a Banks Stinger Kit. I pull a 11K+ 5th wheel and would like to lower EGT a bit on steep grades. I'd appreciate any feedback.

It's kind of like you know whatting up a tree! If any of the tubing is a smaller diameter after a larger diameter piece you're beating a dead horse to some extent. Get yourself a complete system or just keep what you already have, the minimal gains you'll get with the down pipe just aren't worth the cost and effort.
