4" exhaust brake

Who's 4" exhaust brake is the best & who has the best price? I have 4" turbo back and it looks like US gear is the only one that will fit this application. Is this correct?

I'm going to be out of town for the next week so I won't be able to respond for a while.

I think pacbrake has a 4" remote mount also.

Installing a Pacbrake on a Cummins ISl with HX-40 series turbocharger this week.

Our application is a direct mount turbo except with a 90° elbow between the turbo and brake due due to other things.

I snapped a bunch of digital photos and will post them on my website once all the parts arrive and we finish the install.

BD makes a remote mount. Performs great. I used to have a PAC direct mount. BD 4" has way more braking power on the lower end. I am very interested in the performance of the us gear though. Its wastegasted and should hold more pressure at all rpms. The BD unloads by spring when pressure gets to high if I understand right, maybe they are equal in holding or so close I won't notice.

I had heard that Pacbrake didn't have a e-brake for the HX40 but they were working on one. Is it out now?

C20358 is a Pacbrake direct mount brake for the HX-40 turbo. It is an air pressure activated unit.

I don't think they offer it in a vacuum operated unit.

i have the us gear remote mount 4" and it is GREAT it works real well at all RPMs. I wanted a remote mount so i could go with a bigger turbo at a later date with no complications.
