I got my Magnaflow SS from Rip also, not the cheapest setup, but he had one of the best prices for my system. I wish that most vendors had the same view about their customers as Source Automotive. Best company I have done business with, outstanding service!

bowhunter,

Take a hard look at the MBRP systems. They have 100% welded hangers like a stock system has so you don't have any less the great clamp on style hangers to deal with, makes install a snap too! You get a muffler packed with a ceramic blanket and stainless steel wool that gets you a nice deep tone when you pedal to the metal but other wise it's very tame when cruising etc. Plus unlike the cheapo systems the packing material will not blow out over time and get loud. They are very affordable and available in aluminized, 409 or 304 stainless materials too.

Obviously each will have their own opinion on this but I see absolutely nothing wrong with the clamp on style hangers. Actually, I prefer the clamp on style over the welded on hangers because it gives me the ability to easily adjust the alignment of the system as I see best.

Which "cheapo systems" are you referring to?

I have the MBRP on my '05. Love it! No drone... ..... quiet at cruise speed and sounds good with my foot in it. Oo. The system fit like Chrysler made it.
