For those with a 4" exhaust that installed a resonator to get rid of the droan at the 2000rpm range, did it work, did it completely deaden the droan? I have a Walker muffler on my truck it sounds great, however, I would like to do something about that droan. I talked to one person that said it helped a little:confused: If I'm going that route I want something that works better than a little. thanks.

I have a Jardine 4" exhaust. I ordered a 4" resonator because I did not want to deal with the possibility of drone. YES, it works. I would highly recommend it.

My suggestion would be to line the back wall of your cab with Dynamat extreme. I did this when I still had stock exhaust and there was a noticable decrease in road noise.

So then I recently upgraded to a 4in Jardine system. I have no resonator, and I am amazed at how little noise there is - it is barely distiguishable from the stock system... .

Good luck...
