So many options; so little money! Will aluminized hold up better on a diesel than on a gasser? Is Banks worth the extra money over other systems with 4" downpipes? Which system is the quietest? Anyone have experience with City Muffler's systems? Any advantage in 5" over 4"?

Call PDR and get a MBRP 304ss system. Great sound and very affordable. They also have 409ss at a lower price to fit a tighter budget.

I went with hogs 4 inch SS and I love it. . gave the truck a deep throaty sound. If you plan on keeping your truck for a long time I would go stainless if you only plan on keeping it for a couple of years I would do the aluminized and it should hold up fine... IMO:D

Three things about the banks: 1 last forever: 2 No Drone: 3 It"s higher cost. Rarely Do we sell the exhaust without the bundle, It"s a good deal when you purchase the Bundle. Generally we sell the Magnaflow. The banks bolts right up all the bends are so precision and right on.

I got the MBRP set of SS 4" duals. I love the sound, got deeper and throatier, but at the same time, at cruise, barely louder than stock, until you hammer it. Then, you better not have the windows down, either in a tunnel or next to a Jersey wall.

Twest, I came within a hair of ordering the bundle from you, but I didn't like the gauges. I ordered a setof Dipricol gauges and a dashtop pod. I'm researching the exhaust market and the Banks muffler may be the deciding factor. I'll probably order it from you even though I can get it locally for under $500. If I had to replace the muffler on a competing system, I'd be almost up to the Banks price. I'm still leaning toward the six pack but can't imagine needing the Quick Loader. My Torque Dog already gives me enough power to slip the TC.

I went on forever trying to figure out which exhaust for my 04 305/555 and I finally went with the banks. Never have I bought a part that fit so exact and did exactly what I wanted. It sounds and looks awesome. If you go with the banks, make sure you shop around. Lots of folks advertise on here and other boards that they will give you the best price and I am all about helping other members but I ended up getting it right at 100. 00 cheaper than anybody could do. There is alot of money to be made of these exhaust systems.

jsimpson where you at in Eustis? Grew up there (graduated from eustis high in '95).

I would say stainless. I;ve had aluminized systems on jeeps in the past and they do lastl onger than non-aluminized BUT will rust after time.

XJSuperman, I moved recently to Eustis from the Ft. Lauderdale area after spending twenty five years there. RPolidora, please PM me and tell me where you got your Banks. Thanks!

The Banks system is worth it. Banks down pipe replaces the cast elbow with a true 4" down pipe starting at the turbo which is a big improvement by itself. Also Banks muffler has an expansion area at the inlet to stop drone. Give us a call for a quote and I think you will find the Banks system is a good value in quality exhaust.

No drone here, just an intimidating snarl when it bounces off the sides of a DirtyMax as you go by. He he he... :-laf
