I'm jumping up to a 4" exhaust system. The kit seems pretty complete, I was just wondering what everybody has been doing to remove the bolts from the turbo elbow. Just for kicks I was gonna put a wrench on them (I have been PB Blaster-ing them for weeks now), but I don't have high hopes with this. I guess drilling them out will be the best option. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I dan no problem getting mine out when I put my 4" exhaust on. the should be pretty tight, but they should come out without any drastic measures.

Did my exhaust when the truck was a year old. The bolts were tight, but I didn't have any trouble to speak of.

When you remove the downpipe bolts, you need a very long extension to put on your rachet or impact gun.

Use PB Blaster---- Use a six point socket ------Run the engine till the exhaust is as hot as you can get it and they should come off without a problem. I did mine in an afternoon but was disappointed with the quality of the kit. I had to cut and re weld the transmission hanger and modify the hangers at the muffler; Still worth the effort.
