has anybody stacked two of those 2-hole pods on top of each other? wondering how the visibility on the top one would be. i thought i saw some pics of this somewhere, but can't seem to find them today. thanks

Hmmm, I'm not sure there is enough room. I "had" thought I'd go with three, but figured out that I wouldn't be able to see the top (#3) gauge... . 'ecpt at a very accute angle... .

Dave,

Is accute a word?

far as i know. and if it's not, it certainly should be! :D

oh yeah, i was sitting in a friends truck yesterday, and his 3 gauge pillar was very easy to see. it is a 2nd gen though. seems like it sloped away quite a bit more.

I tucked mine (2 hole) as far up under the top trim as possible. In fact, the upper trim holds it up and I only use 1 plastic tree at the bottom to hold it up. Anyway, despite Autometer's odd angles I can still read the gauges clearly. I think with some trimming, two pods can be stacked. Might look a bit odd with the varying angles though.

I was gonna stack my single on top of my dual, I think it pretty much takes up all the room, but I never did. Just get ya a 2-5 gauge dash mount, they're available from UsGear.com, and a single on top of a dual, then you'd be in business.

Because our pillars are so upright, I think it would be hard to see the gauges that would be towards the top. It works on the later model trucks because their pillars slope a lot more. On our trucks, the dash mounts are much easier to see.

No problems reading gauges, can't raise it any higher than my setup. BTW I am running Autometer Sport-Comp boost and pyro, boost on top.

what kind of varying angles are you talking about? with a 2 pod deal, are they pointed in different directions or something? thanks for the info.

Yeah they angle differently for some reason. The lower one aims pretty much at the driver, but the upper one is pitched slightly toward the windshield.
