Does aybody know of a company that makes a 4-gauge full pillar or quick pod for the 2nd Gen trucks? All of the ones I have found have been for the furd products. Can you add a single pod to a 3-pod/3-gauge pillar or stack a pair of 2-gauge quick pods without it looking cobbled-up? I already have the fuel pressure and trans temp gauges in a propod quick pod and want to add pyro and boost gauges and keep them all in the same area.

ive looked all over for something like that also, with no success, but really looking at it, it doesnt seem that on a dodge that a fourth pod would fit easily. the only solution ive found is the 4 gauge overhead pod.

Hay Gary Auto Meter make 3 pod pillars and thay make 4 for the ford guy but not dodges. I have one of the 3 pods in my truck looks nice and I need one more too so I am going to put one on the steering column. Here are the part # for a 2001 Dodge

triple pillar 17203

triple pillar with speaker 17205

steering column pod 15012

thay will fit all gauges that are 2 1/16"

well hope this help you

I'm going to be mounting up a 4-gauge overhead here soon. Word of warning though to those with the factory UConnect system that is part of the rearview mirror (such as on my 2006)..... the overhead WILL NOT fit in the middle, over the mirror! The UConnect microphone is on the top of the mirror and interferes with the gauge pod. I was thinking of lowering my rearview about 3/4 of an inch but the wires going to the mirror do not have that much play in them. My solution? I'm just going to mount the pod over towards the drivers side enough to clear the microphone and wiring harness. Doesn't look quite as nice :( as centered but you certainly can take a quicker glance at the gauges this way and get you eyes back on the road. :)

Genos garage sales a in dash gauge plate that fits over the storage compartment(I call it the cell phone hole next to the radio controls) and they also sale the 3 pod pillar. It seems to be a neat way to put 4 gauges on our trucks. Plus they do a good job of taking care of thier customers.

I did the same as Seth did except that my fourth guage is on the inside. I placed mine on the center guage just high enuff that it is in the same line of sight as the top guage. I used a bullet mount from Genos for the fourth guage. The bullet mount has a 3M adhesive on the foot of the guage that I used to hold it in place then put two small screws through the holes provided on the foot to hold it in place. Two small holes in pillar mount and I was done, been there for three years with no problems.

Here's what I did. I had the single steering wheel pod but one gauge there bugged me. So I went to and put a diff temp gauge in there to fill the hole.

How is the single steering wheel pod for visibilty of speedometer and other dash gauges? Why did the single bug you? Did it look uneven? TIA

Problem is, they dont make a dual for 2nd gens. Only 3rd gens.

I used to have all my gauges mounted in the "bullet" mounts. I actually liked them better than the full pillar mount. The viewing angle could easily be adjusted to my liking. the problem was after you put about 3 gauge there, they were getting to the point of hitting the winshield and made a lot of noise.

I like the scotty's pod, but Id be afraid to butcher my stock cluster panel!!!

Driver No8, I like the way your dash looks. nice and clean.

I have to look around them to see the odometer, but that's about it. Every once in a while I'll look at the PRND21 but most of the time it doesn't really bother me. The single just blocked the odometer if you looked at it straight on. It was just cosmetically bugging me with one. Just didn't look even to me. That's the only reason I went to two over the steering. Added a diff temp gauge because I didn't know what else to put there.

If someone knows how to post the pic instead of the link... go for it. I just don't know how to do it.

Where in Havasu? Taking pictures of the rig huh? Shoulda come and said hi. Headed back out April 1st. Can't wait.

OK. Just looked at my gallery. That's not my boat. Mine looks like this.

Seth: Is that a Propod or one of the other brands? Your setup looks pretty good. Did you consider adding the 4th pod to the top of the pillar or is there not enough room?

Yup it is a propod I never really though about putting it up top becasue with it in the position it is the wires and tubeing that go to it are almost totaly hidden in the position its in actually the only way you can see them is if the door is open then you only see about an inch or two of them also with the fuel pressure where it is if i happen to have a problem and have the anifreeze or god forbid diesel if the isolator fails come up in the cab it will drop out of the cup in a visable area rather than it tracking down the pillar and behind the dash where i may not notice it soon enough. also would make cleanup of a mess of that sort a heck of alot easier. Also where it is at It does not add to the blindspot that the piller already has.
