Having just gone thru the search and decision making process for my 4" system, allow me to make a couple observations.
You get what you pay for.
You'll find systems in 14ga and 16 ga. in stainless, aluminized and plain steel. Stainless is nice but adds substantialy to the price. Aluminized is the middle of the road with warranties from ~3 years to 10 years and i believe this is what came stock on our rigs(?). The least expensive systems are typically just steel and can rust out in a few years.
I found systems that require you to weld the hangers from the old system to the new one. This was NOT for me. Also, some systems come with clamps that emulate the stock hangers, instead of welding them onto the pipes. These hangers work well but getting everything lined up can be a pain.
The one i got from
ADT is the heavier 14 ga Aluminized system with the hangers welded onto the pipes. After the old system was out, putting the new one in took ~1 hour. I was amazed how well everything fit.
IMHO, you should look for a quality system, not the cheapest one.
