Just installed my 4" Jardine exhaust last week. It took me and a friend about 2 1/2 hours to remove the old exhaust and install the new 4" exhaust. We used an oxy/acetelene torch to seperate the old exhaust, and removed it in three pieces. I will be storing the old exhaust just in case it ever has to go back in. The Jardine exhaust fit excellent, no modifications whatsoever. Truck sounds good, not loud at all. Give it some pedal and it has a nice bark. Truck seems to accelerate a little quicker, and the turbo seems to spool up faster. This is just the seat of the pants feel, as I don't have gauges yet. That's next. The system cost me $468. 00 shipped to my door. What a steal. I'm waiting for my Geno's monster tip for the finishing touch. Very pleased with the end result. All the pipes fit nice and snug. -Glen

<font color=blue>Glad ya like your choice in upgrades. Where does the tailpipe exit at?? The reason I am asking is I am adding NorthWest Custom mudflaps at a later date so I have to *ponder* the exit of the exhaust system. Just curious, and I am sure there are others that will need the answer to this question as well. Thanks

I believe it can be ordered to come out in different positions and you also have a choice of 2 mufflers 1-is 20" long for more SOUND,and the 2nd one is 30" long for us guys who wanted it a little quieter,Jardines is a family owned business and stands behind there products 100% just the same as Brett and company at edge products, give them a call.

The tailpipe exits at the right rear corner of the bumper. It definitely would not interfere with any mud flaps. -Glen

Is your Jardine system turbo-back or cat-back? I put one on last year but it's cat-back and I'm wondering now if Jardine can supply the other pipes to make it 4" all the way back from the turbo. Suppose I should give them a call. Mine came so close to the spare that I wound up wrapping about a foot of the pipe with some of that header wrap or whatever it's called. Got it from a speed shop. Nothing's melted yet. The system they sent me also came with a nice shiny 4" turndown for the end that sticks out. As I recall I paid about the same. Sounds nice when you put a little load on at about 70 doesn't it?

Tom, My exhaust is from the turbo back. The system came complete with all clamps and hangers, but no chrome tip. Yeah it does sound nice. Even at idle it sounds different. Probably because no more cat. Jardine would probably sell you just the down pipe, but the inlet to the stock cat is only 3", so some mods would be needed. Give them a call. They seem like nice people to deal with. -Glen

Thanks for the info. Somebody told me awhile back that the cat doesn't really cause much backpressure. Don't know where he got his data, but I'd just as soon be without it.

What i think you guys are missing here is Jardines is the manufacture of exhaust systems, they can sell 1 piece or the whole system, the ones that cost more, might just manufactured by Jardines ,think about it,you just might be cutting out the middleman??
