Just installed the 4" on the truck. The next day went on a trip to Death Valley, CA. I got 1. 8 better milage and that was with a lot of WOT runs up the mountains to check EGT. They are a little lower, cant hit 1200*F. Stays about 1100*F. Very easy to install, I did it myself in about two hours.....

drone?

Even though you haven't had a lot of time in the cab yet, have you noticed any of the drone others have complained about?

Considering gearing, I think they noticed the drone about 1950 to 2100 rpm or about 70 mph.

I have had the back window open for the last three days:D So I haven't heard the dreaded drone. The 3" with straight muffler was 3 times as loud. this is way nicer. Doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner on steroids... ... ... .

I am very happy to see this message since I am getting my Jardine either today ot tomorrow and then driving up to Sacramento on Sunday night.

So you havent noticed a drone at all yet?

I hope that I don't hear one on my truck.

4" Jardine

Hey Guys I was reading the post and was wondering where is the best place with the best price for Jardine exhaust. I'm looking to get some of this return on my truck?

kfranovich... . I got mine from Fred Swanson. Nice guy, fast delivery, he can get us about anything for the CTD. goto his website @

www.desertdieselparts.com

You can get his phone number from there. He is real helpful.

Bill_L... I don't notice anything like I had with the 3"stock and a flowthrough muffler. This one is quiter but sounds better. I live on an open hwy and drive mostly 65-80 mph. 2000-2600 rpm's.

You can hear it but it isn't bothersome.
