Just got done installing a turbo back 4" from Jerry jardine. Fit was perfect. Very easy with basic tools. The seat o' the pants meter was very impressed. Spools up a lot faster, e. g. t. 's 200-deg. lower. I don't care what others might say, even my mom and wife think its quiter. (in cab). I think it helps having the turbo noise exit the tail-pipe. Some observations for anybody planning this:
1-Saturate those nuts and bolts. I used a little heat at the turbo elbow bolts also.
2-Because the restriction is virtually nil, a lot more heat reaches the end of the tail-pipe, watch-it. Due to this I had some concernes with my spare. It is a stock 265/75. Comes close to that 4". I loosened my spare winch and re-tightened it a little to port.
3-thanks to the posts of others, I didn"t mess around. I installed the included magnaflow muffler forward,(after the first straight pipe) instead of after the second straight pipe. NO DRONE!
Anybody with other questions just post them i'll reply,(sorry, I don't have E-mail).
This is costing me 4 cents a minute as it is.
