4" or 5" exhaust

I've been searching for awhile but haven't found the info I was looking for. I want to do something with my exhaust to make it sound a little better and reap the benifits of lower egts and such. I just cant decide if i should just do a mufler at 150 bucks awhole turbo back system and then if i do the turbo back do I go with 5" or 4". I will be upgrading the turbo and it may end up being twins. I also want to get an exhaust brake witch make the exaust decision even more of a pain in the rear.

my perspective......

i love the 5" turbo back flo pro i have on my truck. it is, however very loud. that is the only downfall. with what you are running in your sig, you could easily run a 5" turbo back and benefit. i have heard people say that sometimes the 5" is too much, they lose some power if they are not upping the ante, so to speak. if your running the smarty, etc. 5" should be good. it is loud though. i just used the muffler with the sytem and lost the cat!

I really like the 5 inch Magnaflow exhaust I have. It was drone'y at first but after 10,000k it isn't anymore? Don't ask me how they 'break in' but it is quiet now plus I still get 1 more MPG because of it. Expensive though $830 not including labour! I have a muffler but no cat.

i have a 5 inch Diamond eye, and i love it. the sound is great and the flow is better! EGt's are down as well. Drone be damned! i love it!

Well we appreciate your business. I am also glad to see that you've picked up some fuel mileage. We dont test for fuel mileage. So its good to know that you are getting something.
