4" Walker pipe.

The exhaust shop here in my home town is a little timid about ordering this tailpipe part # 54150 as it is for a newer style Dodge 94-02. I also want to add as much 4" as I can before it. LOL. .



How close a fit is it? I had a BANK$ 97 PSD tail pipe in my 89 and it fit OK, so I am not too worried. But I want to be sure before I order.

No worries, Lil' Dog. Fits great, no mods were necessary. You'd think it was made for the first gen and the bends are sweeeet. I lost the muff and filled in with straight pipe to tie it together. A bit of offset was needed in the fill-in piece to make up for the offset built into the muffler. Wish I could get you a pic. The only thing is, it doesn't extend out past the body. I plan to put a 5" tip on it to complete it, maybe Walker planned it that way too. But, it's fine without it too. I think you'll like it.



edit: I've heard other trucks with all straight 3", and mine has a much deeper tone, so the 4" tail must be the difference. Semi, school bus and tractor are some of the things it has been called. I really like the sound of mine since the change.

Thats the sound I'm lookin for... LOL. . I have heard enough guys around here with their sawed off 3" setups. . I want to have a distinctive low end drone... Heheheheh.



With that then I'll order it... Took me long enough... LOL. .

(edit) After looking in the book with that pipe is a muffler and chrome tip for the complete setup. . The pipe must be cut short for the chrome tip. . You probably can order it too. These are all Dynomax parts (Walker-same thing).
