4 wheel disc?

My truck has 4 wheel disc, my buddy claims his is a 2001 also, however he only has disc in front, he only has a 5 speed too. What gives?

4-wheel discs were a mid-year addition to the 2001's. That's why you'll see some members (like you, for instance) posting that they have a 2001. 5 in their signature - that means (among other things) they have a late 2001 with 4-wheel disc brakes.



Edit: If he has a 5-speed, he has an ETC, not an ETH (available only with the 6-speed. )
