So I was out romping through the back country the other day on a search for an old mine site in the area, to capture some pictures. I had the T case shifted into low range while I was crawling around on the side of this mountain where the mine is located. While decending a hill and coming to a three point turn on this old road I applied the brakes and the torque converter would not unlock. The transmission started to buck, such as did the 2nd gen trucks with auto transmissions and using a mystery switch at low speeds. The only way that I was able to over come the problem was to down shift to 2nd gear, or shift into neutral. Has anyone else experianced problems like this? Is there a fix? Or is this just another quirk with the 3rd gen trucks???
