Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 4 wheel low kit

Who has the kit for the 4 wheel low kit? I have troubles backing up in reverse with heavy load. Clutch is on or off? Truck buck's real hard, I have been putting it in four wheel low and no problems. I remember hearing of a kit that allows you to use the low gears with out lockiong the front. Apprewciate the info, H,

BD used to offer a 2low kit that has worked pretty well for me for over 7 yrs. Simple to install, just need to make sure you throw the switch before engaging the transfer case. Also, I don't put it in park with it engaged in 2low as you get momentary grinding of gears... put it in neutral, ignition off, then into park. Works great backing up a heavy trailer on a steep driveway. Good luck.

looks like you have an 02, make sure your truck has a center axle disconnect, which I dont think it does. mine does not and I can not use a 2 low kit. just look and see if there are vacuum hoses running to a canister on the front axle.

Check with Piers, got mine from them, but as mentioned above, you might be SOL with the 02
