425 or 440 marine injectors in my 06 common rail

other than the old p pumped marine injectors i have not heard of anyone using marine injectors. i have a buddy that works at cummins who has been saving me cores from 5. 9 commonrail marine engines rated at 440hp, has anyone ever thought of using these injectors???

The stock late model CR injectors are capable of over 500 hp. What makes you think these are any different than what we already have?

some guys have gone as high as 600 with stock injectors and CP3

Yeah it seems that the CR injector is not the limitation its the CP3 and programing. Remember on the older rigs they fired based off of pressure, not electrical... So you needed a different injector for more fuel, now you can keep them open longer with software. . . just have to keep the rail full... And if you look at the most common injector mods, its just tips...
