CPoling's new to him 95 4x4 3500 std cab that has 130XXX miles, The truck has a "flat spot" on the throttle between 45-55 mph. You can put the pedal to the floor and it just pretty much doesnt do anything it goes a little bit but its like a dead pedal almost.

not sure if its trans related (stock trans) but maybe governor springs? we need to turn the pump up though. that might help?

Heck I dont know about these under valved things hahaha

Thanks guys!!

Ian

ahhhh ic, well the local dealership had the rig (pervious local owner whom Chris and I know well) and they said it was the gov springs... . but we know how some dealers are... .

So its a common problem eh?

Oh I forgot to say that the truck is gutless as well!! its got torque just no get up and go

my 96 was that way also. wife would drive and try to pass someone without getting a run for it,it would just dit in the passing lane and go nowhere, had 370 inj. put, pump tweaked, plate ground, timing set at 16. now when the pedal stomped it goes, now the wife when she drives wants to pass everything. its alot more fun to drive now. :D
