45/5500 at the Detroit auto show????

Dose anyone know if the 45/5500 made it to the Detroit Auto show?????

Opens to the public tomorrow and I have to think if they were going to show off something it would have been leaked by now.

I heard that this is later this year... it will be a 2008 model but they can release it early. . I was told that orders will not be accepted until late in the 1st quarter or early 2nd quarter...



I was shown pre production lit. about 10 to 12 months ago when they found out I had an F550 and wanted to know if I was interested... I was contacted by my local dealer and don't know if it was from them or DC... but I saw the stuff and was asked about 10 questions which I answered truthfully... .



I sent a note in Dec to my dealer asking him what was up with this and he just sent a note back saying no changes... . Hope this helps but I know its not what your looking for...

A friend of mine has a sister-in-law that works for Dodge and says that they are coming this year.

I was at the Detroit show on Wednesday and there was NO full size Dodge pickup or any kind on display. All of the other DC vehicles were shown in a fairly elaborate setting.



I found it a bit strange.

Historically, the Chicago auto show is where new Dodge Ram models are unveiled. That's next month. I found a spy shot of a Sterling Bullet, but the site wouldn't let me save it and now the link is dead. I'll keep looking for another one.

This year is the answer. They already have a chassis code of "DM". This from JTE (Jeep Truck Engineering). And they won't be available with a pickup box. CC only.
