8. 3 L Cummins, 13Spd, 23,000 lbs Single Drives, Air Brakes, 17,000 lbs Steering Axle, Air suspension, aluminum wheels And all the chrome you can get with a 36 inch sleeper And the price is $87,569. 20

Hercules 130 asked the question that is burning in my mind. My '06 3500 SRW has the Getrag 6spd. with a final drive of 0. 79. With the 3:73s the motor gets real busy around 80 mph. The new trannie(G56) is listed with an 0. 74 for the final hole. I have tried to source a set of 3:50 gears after the Standard Transmissions in Ft. Worth told me they cannot even replacement parts for the trannie. When they finally got back to me I then told they cannot even get 3:50 gears for the AAM.

WILL THEY EVER GET IT RIGHT??????

A Daimler divison. Basicly a in house unit used in Europe and eleswhere in deliverly vehicles. Do a seach function, should be LOTS of reading about the G56. lots of info has been discused about this trans since late 05 when it replaced the NV5600. The its a GETRAG has been posted over and over because of the "G" I assume. Its been used in Damiler vehicles for a number of years.

Ah So, thanx for clearing that up. So back to my original problem. Is someone going to make a gear for that trannie or is someone going to do an after market set of gears for the AAM axle to get us back to where we need to be?
