That should be a mechanical transmission ,noit a RE should be a RH I have a RE from a v 10 98 dodge

I would have thought that your truck would have run the A727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission.

You probably won't, rebuilding what you have is likely going to be the solution.

You have a 3 speed or overdrive transmission?

Likely a 91.5 if you have a 46RH, I have a spare "rebuilt-to-stock-8,000 miles back" 4x4 transmission laying around that I will never use.

I got shafted 3 times on my current rebuild & loved it.
