I have hade the truck for 2 months now. It has never shifted into od. If i turn tow haul off then it will lock up in 3rd but only if it is off. When comming to a stop it has never down shifted unless i do it manually. Well tonight i installed a BD Valve Body thinking that may have been my problem. On the first start up put it in drive and the converter locked up and stalled the truck. It done this in D and 2nd. I took it up the road (started in first and manually shifted ) and it done great but still no od. Stopped at stop light and had no 1st even when shifted manually. And still will only lockup in 3rd with tow haul off... Im about at my witts end anyone have any ideas ?

What year is your truck?

Just checked the TV cable and it is slid all tge way toward the fire wall.... There has to be someone that has had this same issue that can chime in.....

My 96 FSM, also from my research the tv cable out of adjustment could cause serious clutch pack damage in a short time.

What did your fluid look like when you did your valve body.

Last note when you search separate your words with just the word and . Often This makes better results.
