Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 47RE Overdrive Question.

I have a 47 RE two wheel drive dually that I believe the overdrive soelenoid has gone out of because all at once the truck completely quit shifting into overdrive. It was working just fine and then it just quit. However, someone told me that you could ground this soelenoid somehow and force the transmission to go ahead and go into overdrive. I was wondering how or if this can be done, as it is pretty annoying only going 55 to 60 mph at high RPM's. I think that this is the problem, but if anyone has any other ideas let me know. Thanks.
