hey guys, maybe someone could tell me about the line that cross from the passenger side to the driver side. I know the line on passenger side going up to the eng. cooler where I put my temp senser at, then goes around eng too stock cooler back to trans. does anyone know want that one line crosses is for & what it those. I hope I install that temp senser in the right place. thanks

its been about 5 years but if i remember right the transmission line was on the drivers side and was from a 97 i got from the dealer. it has a pluged port where you can remove the plug and put in the sending unit. hope this helps. carl

Here is the flow pattern for the trans lines. The hot fluid exits the trans from the front hard line. Then runs under the oil pan to the inlet (rear) of the heat exchanger. This is the line where most people put the temp sender, buy purchasing the replacement line, or whatever method you prefer. Then the fluid exits the heat exchanger (front) and runs back under the oil pan to the front of the truck. Then it's into the cooler and back out to the rear input of the trans.

HTH,

Max
