Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 47RE Transmission Price??

I just wanted to know what people are paying for a used transmission out of the salvage yards I have been quoted from 950 to 1400 that includes the TQ to

that sounds high. i have a 2wd 99 47re with only 33000 miles on it and a triple disc dunrite convertor. i removed from my truck for a rebuilt unit with dunrite parts. ive been trying to sell the trans for $500 and the convertor for $500 and cant seem to get rid of them. i bought the trans that is in my truck as a core for $250 and that included the 2 pc. driveshaft.

Too bad of the distance or I would take the trans core off your hands. Your price for a stock converter is high - can get 'em all day long for less than $300 w/exchange.

bummer you're so far away i would like to get rid of it. the convertor isnt stock its a Dunrite triple disc. cost over $1200 new when purchased. i couldnt put it on the new trans. because the trans. would not be warranted if using a used convertor, otherwise it would be in my truck.
