Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 47re wont shift in low 4x4

my 98 also wont shift out of first in low range it originally came w/ a np241 dhd but it broke the front u-joint and broke the tranfercase and someone put in a 241dld well the front joint broke again and took out the dld and i put a new np241dhd back in but i just noticed it wont shift anyone know what the problem is? rod

Can you take it to a transmission and transfercase shop? Could be something to do with the linkage
