just wanted to let you know me and my dad finished building 2 47hr's for his d250 std cab and my w250 ext. cab my truck has a lill bit before she'll be on the road i'm doing alot more to it, but about 2 weeks ago we put the d250's trans in and found out a good thing other than the other hundereds of benifites from the trans strength it self and lock up, dang i've never driven a cummins w/lock up what a differnce but i wanted to let everyone know or arcive it for future swaps if you use the shot part of the drive shaft, the part that slides into the back of the trans from and ext. 2wd and mate it with the factory rear drive shaft there is no need to have drive shafts made but this will only work if you already have the short side from an ext. cab just thought i'd let everyone know since its been nothing but great things from here for me
have a great day
edit this is if you have auto trans drive shafts in both trucks so use the short end from a 518 in an ext cab and mate the long end from the original d250 std cab
