Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Well that CTD will pull and pull but I`m not sure about the transmission. I have 12300 miles on a `05 3500.
Went to Monterey from Reno and back, pulling my Montana 5th @ 12300lbs. It now jerks or hesitates in 1st and 2nd. When towing I had it in the tow/haul mode but on the flats it would kick down to highway gearing thus the RPM`s would drop to 1500. Then on the up hill grades it would hold in the RPM range 1900 to 2200. Is it the transmission thats giving me that jerky back and forth feeling as its searching for a gear?
