48re filter change& adjustments

I'm going to change my transmission filter today, is there any thing I need to look out for or do while the pan is off? Also can line pressure be adjusted up while I'm in there?

Don't know about line pressure adjustment, but if you look in issue 56 of the TDR mag it has an article commenting on not adjusting bands unless you're having problems.

Id personally adjust the bands. The rear band can only be adjusted with the pan dropped. The forward band can be adjusted without dropping the pan.

Can anybody elaborate on this?
