48re fluid change

Getting ready to change the fluid in my 48re Have 22k miles (90% towing 14k lbs) Do I just drop the pan and change whats in the pan or should I also change out the filter or just clean the screen? It still shifts fine with no slippage that I can tell and the fluid still looks clean with no brunt smell. Or should I take it in to a transmission shop and let them change ALL of the fluid? Thanks

I have the dealer do mine. It costs more, but if it's not done right, they have to cover it under warranty (famous last words).

I would consider purchasing a new pan that has a drain plug. Why they don't do that at the factory is beyond me.
