Can you adj the line pressure the same on the 48re as the 47re? I would like to turn up my line pressure about 17 psi and adj my shift point a little like I did on my 47re.

Maybe I was thinking 9 psi or 3 to 4 turns was ok. . I think that is what DTT told me on my 47re. But I was hopeing that someone had allready asked.

I thought it was two turns but the 48re is differant. I think I would find out for SURE before I twisted a screw on one of those.

Line Pressure

I finally got to talk to Bill on the 48re line pressure. He told me that you really need a pressure tester on the 48's. Some were coming with 55psi at idle and can be turned up to 60 but he said they are all over the place on the pressures. Some are already at 60psi at an idle. So he told me to not just turn it up like we could on the 47's. However I did learn that the Mag-Hytech pans are the same for the 47 and 48 if people did not already know that.
