48RE - no 3rd. or OD

I have a 2006 2500 4x4 48RE and on Friday everything was fine. Yesterday morning I pulled away from the house and the trans would only shift from 1st. to 2nd. It wouldn't go into 3rd. or OD. I cycled through T/H and OD Off and back to normal. Shut down and restarted. No improvement. Fred Swanson in Phoenix installed a shift kit in it a couple years ago and it has about 15K miles since the install. There are no codes. All external wiring appears to be in good shape. The truck has only 77K miles on it.

Where should I start? I know if I throw enough parts at it things will improve, but what is most likely?

If it won't go to drive it won't go to OD. If drive is not engaging and it is being demanded probably the direct cltuch pack is gone and the seal failed on the apply piston.

Still has reverse. Taking it to Fred Swanson next week...

Reverse jumps the pressure really high so a lot of times it will have reverse but it won't or will take a long time to shift into drive.

Got the truck back today. Ground for the governor pressure sensor had opened at the harness connector causing no pressure feedback to the ECM and TFT of -40. It was a loose pin in the connector...
